BESS is a New Orleans-styled, gaslit, basement restaurant serving Cajun-infused cuisine. Walton’s Fancy & Staple (“Perishable, Cherishable, Fetishable”) is a bakery, deli, coffee shop, florist and caterer all wrapped into one charming general store.

GS was entrusted to provide both with respective brand identities and comprehensive design/creative direction, including: logo, messaging, naming consultation, style guidance (color palette, typography, collateral & menu templates, photography & illustration direction) website design and development, Flash development, and environmental design (interior and exterior signage, etched glass and wrought iron design, menuboards, food signage and hangtags, vehicle fleet).

BESS Bistro won the BRAVO A-List Award for Best Celebrity Restaurant/Restauranteur.
